Revamp 12-Element Psychometric Assessment

I have a proprietary assessment that measures 12 distinct psychological elements, but recent data shows that several of those scales are not performing as expected. My top priority is increasing the overall validity and reliability of the test. In its current form, the scoring model is off— weightings and scale ranges are producing inconsistent results—so inaccurate scaling is the main pain-point I need you to solve. Most candidates are scoring identical on some elements for example, when they clearly are not.
A few of the elements are clearly weaker than the rest; I will share their item-level statistics and feedback once we begin. Your job is to audit every item, redesign or replace questions where necessary, recalibrate the scoring model, and deliver an instrument that can stand up to a validation study.
Key deliverables
• Revise questions to more accuretly assess each test criterion.
• make sure test scoring and resluts are accurate and valid.
• Technical report outlining psychometric evidence—internal consistency, factor structure, and any item-analysis output
• Clear recommendations for future piloting and sample sizes needed for full validation
I am looking for someone who has built tests from scratch, run item analyses in software such as SPSS/R, and can communicate psychometric concepts in plain language. If you have experience improving reliability coefficients or performing factor analysis on multi-scale assessments, you will be a strong fit.
