I’m developing a stylish, eco-friendly reusable cup and need a seasoned product designer/engineer to take it from concept to manufacturable files. Before we lock the final look, I’d like several 3D-modelled mock-ups that we can quickly iterate on.
Material: I’m open to either plastic or metal as long as the final recommendation balances durability, weight, cost, and sustainability.
Key features to build around:
• Leak-proof lid
• Effective insulation for hot and cold drinks
• Multi-purpose, barista-friendly lid (think straw-ready and sip-top in one)
• Clean, modern styling that photographs well for marketing
Scope of work
1. Early-stage concept sketches that explore shape, volume, and lid mechanics.
2. Refined CAD models (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) for 2–3 shortlisted concepts.
3. Final engineering package: manufacturing-ready 3D files, exploded views, basic tolerance notes, and BOM suggestions.
4. Optional photorealistic renders for pitching and crowdfunding visuals.
Please include a detailed project proposal outlining your design approach, expected number of iterations, and timelines. Links to any prior drinkware or food-grade product work will help me gauge fit quickly.
I’d like to move fast once we pick a direction, so highlight how you handle rapid design loops and feedback.
