I need a very simple low-poly character—think early PlayStation blockiness—modelled and fully rigged in Blender so it drops straight onto the UE5 Manny male mannequin without any bone tweaks. The character is an older businessman in a suit, serious expression, and ideally a little lanky yet still able to fit Manny’s proportions cleanly for animation retargeting.
Stylistic notes
• Keep polygon counts and texture sizes modest to nail that retro look.
• Flat-shaded or tiny 128×128 textures are fine; visible seams and chunky silhouettes are welcome.
• The suit can be one solid colour with a contrasting tie; no ornate folds or sculpted fabric needed—just the classic early-3D charm.
Workflow requirements
• Build and skin the mesh in Blender.
• Match the bone names, hierarchy and orientation of the UE5 Manny skeleton exactly.
• Test-import to UE5 to confirm the mannequin’s animation set drives the character correctly (no offset hands, feet, or twisted shoulders).
Deliverables
• .blend file with clean, named collections and a single armature.
• Exported .fbx ready to drag into Unreal Engine 5.
• All texture files used (PNG preferred).
• Quick viewport screenshot or short capture in UE5 proving the Manny animations play as expected.
Acceptance criteria
– Character and suit match the “very simple low-poly” spec.
– Imports to UE5 with zero bone or scale warnings.
– All Manny animations run without visible clipping or deformation issues.
– I can open the Blender file, adjust the mesh, re-export, and get the same result.
Hand over the files via a single zip when done and we’re good. Thanks!
