Retro 80s-90s PSA Production

Project: Turn My Canva Video Into a Vintage 1980s/1990s PSA

I’m looking for someone to take a video I’ve already started creating in Canva and turn it into a 3–5 minute, old-school public service announcement (PSA) about cultural competency in substance use disorder treatment.

I already have a rough draft of the video, along with a script, footage, and images. I’m not very experienced with video creation, so what I’ve put together isn’t quite what I envisioned. I want it to look and feel more like one of those dramatic, memorable public service announcements from the 1980s or 1990s.

I’m hoping someone can use my existing video as a starting point and transform it into that vintage PSA style. You’re welcome to rearrange scenes, remove anything that doesn’t fit, improve the visuals, add footage or graphics, and make whatever creative changes you think would help.

I’d like the finished video to include:

* A serious but engaging male narrator.
* Soft, dramatic background music that becomes hopeful toward the end.
* Vintage VHS effects, old television-style transitions, and bold captions.
* A strong, memorable message about cultural competency.
* A finished 3–5 minute MP4 video.

I’m not looking for an overly polished, expensive commercial. I’d actually prefer a slightly homemade, authentic retro PSA feel.

The goal is to improve what I’ve already created, not necessarily start over from scratch. I’ll provide my existing Canva video and script so you have plenty of material to work with.

My timeline is flexible, and I’m looking for an affordable option. Please provide your price and examples of similar work.
Acceptance criteria
– Runtime stays between 3:00 and 5:00 minutes.
– Every line of the provided script is voiced by a male narrator and perfectly synced.
– Music is licensed or royalty-free and mixed properly.
– Vintage treatment is consistent throughout.
– Final render is watermark-free and upload-ready.

Excited to collaborate and see how you bring this message to life.
