I want a square podcast cover that feels straight out of the Super Nintendo era—crisp 16-bit pixel art, saturated colours, and that unmistakable nostalgic charm. The illustration should show the two hosts (my friend and I) caught mid-action inside a playful, fictional game scene.
Visual cues
• One character (Justin) make into a DnD type style character with a two handed hammer barbarian type.
• The other is launching into battle with an ARPG flavour—spell effects, necromancer wizard type character.
• The backdrop can be a fantasy setting.
Text
Please reserve a spot for the podcast name; "Damnit, this game cheats! with Justin and Trent" The title should feel integrated into the artwork, not dropped on top.
Deliverables
1. 3000 × 3000 px PNG (72 dpi) and layered source file (PSD or Aseprite).
2. A 1400 × 1400 px resized version.
3. Palette reference and font details.
Acceptance criteria
• Authentic 16-bit look—visible, clean pixel grid.
• No copyrighted brands, logos, or trademarked characters.
• Both hosts clearly recognisable from photo references I’ll provide after kickoff.
• Final files meet Apple/Spotify cover specs (
