I’m putting together a showcase-worthy sales workbook for my Data Entry & Excel portfolio and need an expert touch. The dataset is retail-focused and will be a mix of records I supply and additional, realistic entries you create to round it out. Everything must live in a single Excel file and look clean, consistent, and professional.
Here’s what I’m after:
• A well-structured table that holds customer and product details, quantities, unit prices, order dates, payment status, and a calculated line total.
• Thorough data cleaning and formatting so every field is validated, dates align to one format, and currency values carry two decimals.
• Built-in formulas (SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF, XLOOKUP or similar) for automatic totals.
• Sorting and filtering enabled on all relevant fields.
• A summary section at the top or on a separate sheet that instantly displays total orders, total quantity, overall sales value, paid vs. pending orders, and product-wise sales breakdown. A PivotTable or dynamic array solution is fine as long as it’s clearly laid out.
Acceptance criteria
1. All raw and generated rows integrate seamlessly with no validation errors.
2. Summary metrics recalculate correctly when I add or edit rows.
3. Workbook opens without warning messages and passes Excel’s “Inspect Document” check for hidden data/personal info.
4. Visual design is tidy—styles, banded rows, and consistent fonts give it a portfolio-ready look.
I will send you the initial batch of sales records once we start. Feel free to build out the rest so the final workbook feels substantial yet realistic.
