My WordPress site has suddenly been replaced by an “Account Suspended” notice. I haven’t received any explanation from Squarespace, so I need someone who can jump in, diagnose the root cause, apply the latest WordPress core, theme, plugin and PHP security patches, and bring the site back online quickly.
You will need to:
• Investigate why the hosting account was flagged, including possible PHP vulnerabilities or malware.
• Update WordPress, themes and plugins to their secure versions, removing or repairing anything that is compromised.
• Liaise with Squarespace support if a ticket or verification is required to lift the suspension.
• Verify that the home page and all key sub-pages load correctly after the fix.
I can provide current login credentials to WordPress admin, SFTP/SSH, and the hosting dashboard as soon as we start. Once the site is visible to the public again and scans clean, the job is complete.
