Restaurant Order Tracking Database

I need a straightforward database that lets my restaurant staff capture every customer order from the moment it is placed through to payment. For each ticket we must be able to record three pieces of information: the customer’s details (name, phone, table or delivery address), the exact items ordered with quantities and modifiers, and the payment data (method, amount, reference).
A simple set of input forms and query screens is enough; the priority is a clean structure that prevents duplicate data and makes it easy for me to pull up any order in seconds. I am flexible on the platform—MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, even Access are all acceptable as long as the final file can be run on a typical Windows laptop without extra licensing fees.
Deliverables
• Normalised schema and ERD
• Ready-to-use database file populated with a handful of sample records
• Basic user guide showing how to add, search, edit and delete orders
I will test by entering several new orders, checking that customer information auto-fills where appropriate, and confirming that totals and payments are stored correctly. When everything runs smoothly and the sample data matches the schema, the project is complete.
