I need a seasoned mechanical engineer to create a complete HVAC and kitchen-ventilation package for a full-service restaurant with a varied cooking menu. The primary objective is straightforward: every drawing, calculation, and schedule must satisfy local code so the permit is approved on the first submission.

Scope
You will handle the full airflow strategy—air-conditioning, dedicated fresh-air intake, kitchen hoods, exhaust, and makeup-air systems. I will share drawings of the space once we start; final documentation must be ready for contractors and authorities alike.

Key Deliverables
• Cooling/heating load and airflow calculations
• Duct and diffuser sizing with pressure drop checks
• Detailed AutoCAD execution drawings (plan, section, and schematic)
• Equipment schedules with model numbers and capacities
• Bill of quantities broken down by system
• Written design notes referencing the relevant sections of local mechanical code

Experience Required
Previous work on restaurants or commercial kitchens is essential; please reference at least one comparable project that passed inspection. Familiarity with grease and condensate control, fan selection, and balancing procedures will be evaluated closely.

I am ready to move quickly once I see evidence of the right expertise and a clear, methodical approach to code compliance.
