I want to ship a fast, lightweight TextUtils web application built with React.js that feels just as smooth on mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers. The core tools I need in place are:

• Real-time text transformations: uppercase ↔ lowercase, remove extra spaces, clear text, copy to clipboard
• Live statistics: word count, character count, and an estimated reading-time indicator
• Instant preview pane so users can see their formatted text as they type

The interface has to be clean and modern, leaning on standard HTML, CSS or Tailwind CSS so the layout scales gracefully across all breakpoints. Think subtle animations, intuitive navigation, and a color palette that can easily be expanded to light, dark, or any custom theme later on.

Under the hood, I expect reusable functional components, proper state management (React hooks), and tidy, commented code so future tweaks are painless. Performance matters: lazy-load anything heavy, keep bundle size lean, and make sure clipboard operations and counters are non-blocking.

Deliverables
1. Full React project (source code) ready to run with npm/yarn start
2. Build script producing an optimized production bundle
3. Brief README explaining component structure, available scripts, and how to swap styles/themes

If something in the spec is unclear, feel free to suggest improvements—the goal is a polished, responsive tool that end users can pick up on any device and instantly understand.
