Responsive Portfolio Site Build

I need a developer who can craft a modern, attractive personal portfolio using vanilla HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The site has to feel polished on phones, tablets and desktops alike, with a clean colour palette, professional typography and intuitive navigation. Although I like subtle movement, I only want minimal, purpose-driven animations—think gentle fades or slide-ins that highlight content without stealing attention.

The structure I have in mind is straightforward:

Each section should be easy for me to update later, so please keep the code well-commented and organise assets sensibly. Interactive touches such as a collapsible mobile menu, smooth scrolling between anchors and a lightweight contact form (no back-end processing needed now) will complete the experience.

Acceptance criteria:
• Fully responsive layout that passes dev-tools audits at common breakpoints.
• Clean, semantic HTML5 and modular CSS with custom properties for quick theming.
• JavaScript kept lean—only what is required for navigation, animation triggers and form validation.
• Build delivered as a ready-to-host folder hierarchy plus a brief README explaining how I can modify content or add new projects.
