I have to hand in a self-contained mini project for my college class and I’d like you to build it from scratch using only HTML5 and CSS3. The topic is a personal portfolio site, and I want it to look polished, modern and—most importantly—fully responsive on mobile, tablet and desktop screens.
Scope
• Pages: please include a Home page and a Projects page.
• Style: clean, attractive visuals with smooth hover effects. Feel free to explore Flexbox, CSS Grid, custom fonts, and media queries to keep everything fluid.
• Code quality: keep the file structure logical and comment key sections so I can talk through the decisions in class. Only HTML/CSS—no JavaScript.
• Documentation: a short README (or PDF) explaining the layout, the main CSS techniques you used, and simple instructions on how to view the site offline.
Deliverables
1. Zipped project folder containing all HTML and CSS files, images, and any assets you choose.
2. Brief project explanation document.
3. Two or three full-page screenshots that show the responsive breakpoints.
If any additional pages such as About or Contact would strengthen the flow, I’m open to suggestions, but the two pages above are mandatory. Let me know if you need anything else before you start; otherwise, I’m excited to see your creative approach.
