I’m looking for a seasoned web professional who can take this project from blank canvas to fully deployed, production-ready site. The finished product must feel current and refined, load quickly on even modest connections, and adapt flawlessly to mobile, tablet, and desktop screens. Clear, intuitive navigation is essential; the user should never wonder where to click next.
Scope of work
• Plan the site structure, wireframes, and visual style so every core page supports a consistent user experience.
• Build the front-end with standards-compliant HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (or a framework you recommend) and integrate a back-end/CMS where updating content is simple for non-technical users.
• Optimise images, code, and server settings to achieve fast page-load scores on tools like Google PageSpeed Insights.
• Set up essential features such as intuitive menus, internal search if needed, and any contact, blog, or user-interaction elements we decide on together.
• Test across modern browsers and devices, fix any bugs, and migrate everything to the live hosting environment.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional website hosted on the live domain
2. Source files and credentials neatly organised for future maintenance
3. A short hand-over guide explaining how to update text, images, and core settings
4. Support for an agreed period to resolve post-launch issues
