Responsible Business Solution Proposal Writer

Your task is to write a 1,500 words individual business proposal (white paper) including a reflexive piece that outlines creative solutions to an important responsible business issue.

Detailed guidance about the format of so-called white papers will be provided.

Your proposal should be addressed to a specific organisation that actually exists so that we can verify your claims about what the organisation is currently doing. The organisation you select could be a large organisation or a small one and could be for profit or not-for-profit, such as a cooperative or a charity.

Please do not select an organisation that you have worked for in the past, as part of the exercise is about demonstrating your ability to do research and then apply your learning to a new context rather than one you know already. You are responsible for learning about what the selected organisation is currently doing with respect to the responsible business issue you believe is a priority.

You will be writing this proposal as if you were a management consultant who has been brought in to provide advice to the organisation about how it can address the chosen responsible business issue.

This assignment relates to all four of the module Learning Objectives. In keeping with module Learning Objective 3, we would like you to use a systems-based approach that takes into account organisational economic, social, cultural, geographical, policy and legal contexts.

The assignment also includes a short reflexive piece. The reflexive piece should be 250 words, and the rest of the document (1,250 words) should be devoted to the white paper. The reflexive piece should be about how you have put your values into practice as you carry out this assignment and the action plan and recommendations that you have made to the organisation you chose. The main part of the document, the white paper, may follow the format which will be shared later.
