I cloned an open-source project from GitHub and followed its documentation to the letter—Git checkout, CMake configure, then build—but the compile stage keeps failing.

Current environment
• Windows 10 machine
• Git already installed
• LLVM 19 on the box for clang-cl (though the build currently targets the Visual Studio compiler)
• Vulkan SDK present so glslangValidator is on the path
• Python 3 in place for the helper scripts

What I’m seeing
Running the provided command-line sequence (not the .cmd helper script) inside PowerShell, cmd, and the Visual Studio Developer prompt always stops at the same point with compilation errors. No dependency-missing messages—just straight compiler complaints once the sources start building.

Scope of help needed
1. Reproduce the issue on your side.

2. Identify and patch whatever is triggering the compilation errors (code tweaks, CMake flag changes, missing include directories, etc.).

3. if possible to trace and fix the issue remotely on my desktop.

a short README section or comment block outlining the exact steps and any prerequisites or env-vars that must be set, so I can rebuild from scratch and get the same green build.
