Residential Geothermal System Design, Colorado. New construction.

I need a complete design package for a small, horizontal closed-loop geothermal system that will cover heating, cooling, and domestic hot-water production for my 1,250 sq ft home in Colorado.

The house already uses forced-air ducts, radiant floor zones, and a few baseboard heaters. I want the new ground-source heat-pump system to tie into this existing mix while providing even, whole-house cooling throughout the year.

Your work will include:

• Manual-J (or comparable) load calculations based on local climate data
• Horizontal loop field sizing and layout, including trench depths, pipe sizing, antifreeze choice, and estimated excavation footprint
• Heat-pump specifications with COP/EER data, desuperheater integration for hot-water assist, and any buffer or mixing tank recommendations
• Schematics showing how the unit connects to the ductwork, radiant manifolds, and baseboards, including control strategy for simultaneous or staged operation
• A concise material list and installation notes detailed enough for permitting and for a local contractor to price and build
• Any performance estimates or energy-savings projections you can derive from GLHEPRO, LoopLink, or similar tools

The package will be considered complete when the drawings, calculations, and equipment schedule are clear enough for submission to my county building department and for on-site installers to follow without further clarification.
