Repurpose & Lengthen Heavy Curtains

I have several panels of beautiful, heavyweight drapery fabric already hanging in my San Jose home. The goal is to detach each panel and join them so they form one elegant, floor-to-ceiling installation. Because the fabric is substantial, I need someone who has solid experience working with heavy textiles and can advise on the best way to take the panels down, reconfigure their seams, and re-hang them securely.

Here’s what you’ll tackle: both detaching and lengthening the existing curtains, then rehanging the finished piece from the ceiling line.
