I have an existing peer-reviewed paper that reports detailed EnergyPlus results for a single building. My first goal is to match the paper’s heating and cooling energy use as closely as possible in a fresh OpenStudio / EnergyPlus model.

You will start from scratch (or from any templates you prefer), rebuild the geometry, construction layers, schedules and systems, and then fine-tune until the simulated heating-and-cooling totals align with the publication. Because those numbers are the benchmark, I need you to scrutinise the building materials, insulation levels, the exact weather file and site location parameters before touching anything else. When the match is satisfactory, we can move on to exploring energy-saving improvements, but phase one is solely about replication and validation.

please anyone does not have experience with modelling sending the offer i dont want waste time

Deliverables
• A fully documented OpenStudio file and associated EnergyPlus IDF that reproduces the paper’s heating and cooling results
• A short comparison report (table or chart) showing the published values versus your run, plus an explanation of any residual gap and calibration steps taken
• An archive of all supporting inputs: custom weather file, material definitions, schedule spreadsheets, etc.

I will provide the publication, any supplementary data it includes, and clarify items that are ambiguous in the text. If you have published work or past projects that demonstrate rigorous EnergyPlus calibration, please mention them when you respond.
