A page that appears in Google’s search results is presenting general misinformation and I want it formally flagged for review by Google. I already have the URL and screenshots; what I need next is a concise, well-structured report that fits Google’s content reporting workflow and maximises the chance that their team will investigate.
The work involves:
• Verifying and briefly summarising why the content is misleading (I’ll share the evidence I have).
• Preparing the text for the “Report inappropriate content” submission, making sure it aligns with Google Search policies on misinformation.
• Filing the report through the correct Google channel—Search feedback, the spam report form, or another route you find most effective—and capturing proof of submission (timestamped screenshot or confirmation email).
Acceptance criteria:
• A short rationale (150–200 words) that clearly identifies the misinformation.
• The completed submission, visible in a screenshot.
• A simple hand-off note so I can follow up with Google Support if needed.
Familiarity with Google Search Console or similar reporting tools will help you work faster, but the key deliverable is the properly lodged flag request and evidence it was sent.
