I have a single SAP2000 model saved as a .sdb file that refuses to open—the program immediately throws an error as soon as I try. I need someone experienced with SAP2000 file recovery to investigate the cause, repair the model, and return a version I can open without issues.
What I will provide
• The problematic .sdb file
• Any additional project information you might need (SAP2000 release number I’m using, screenshots of the exact error, etc.) 23.2.0
What I expect back
• A working .sdb (or compatible .s2k) that opens cleanly in my installed SAP2000 release
• A brief note describing the fault you found and the steps you took to fix or convert the model so I can avoid the same issue later
If the model proves irreparable, a clear explanation of why and, if possible, an exported text or neutral format containing geometry, properties, and load definitions will still be considered a successful outcome.
