Repair Disabled Lenovo Yoga Inputs

I have three identical Lenovo Yoga C940-14IIL laptops whose built-in keyboards and trackpads all failed within the past few months. None of them are stuck in tablet mode, and external USB/HID devices still work, so I’m convinced the problem was introduced by a recent Windows or driver update rather than by physical damage.

What I need
First, connect remotely (TeamViewer, AnyDesk or your preferred secure tool) to one unit, track down the exact service, registry entry, driver package, firmware setting or Windows Update that disabled the internal HID devices, and restore full keyboard-and-trackpad functionality. Once that machine is stable after reboot and sleep cycles, walk me through the fix so I can repeat it on the remaining two laptops.
