I run an online talk-show for my newspaper’s Facebook page and YouTube channel and I’m ready to hand the microphone to someone who can both host and record upcoming episodes. Each session features invited guests who speak on politics and literature, so you’ll need the curiosity to dig into policy debates one moment and the literary craft the next—all while keeping the chat casual and conversational.
Here’s how I picture the workflow. You’ll connect with our guest remotely (I usually schedule through Zoom or StreamYard, but I’m open to other reliable platforms). Once live, you handle the full conversation—from ice-breaking and guiding questions to smooth wrap-ups—without sounding scripted. Clear video and crisp audio are essential, so you should have a decent camera, proper lighting, and a lapel or condenser mic on your end. After recording, please trim dead air, add the branded intro/outro I’ll supply, and export a ready-to-upload MP4 for both Facebook and YouTube.
If you have previous host clips, share a link so I can hear your style. A quick note about scheduling: I run one episode a week, typically 30–40 minutes each, and guests are booked at least a week in advance. Looking forward to collaborating on smart, engaging conversations that keep our audience coming back.
