Remote Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst for a leading global retail brand. This is an 8–12 week assignment covering a leave. You'll plan, report on and analyze sales and store performance across North American retail stores.
What you'll do:

Build high-level sales plans and store-level sales targets

Turn targets into daily and weekly store goals used for field and store incentive pay

Pull and check sales data in BusinessObjects; analyze sales and KPI trends and make recommendations

Work with General Ledger and Shared Services on controls and balance sheet analysis

Build tools to automate and streamline reporting

Create ad hoc analyses and support special projects

Partner with brand and field leaders to point out sales and operating trends

Required:

Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics

3+ years of FP&A or commercial finance

Advanced Excel and financial modeling; strong PowerPoint and Word

SAP and/or BusinessObjects experience

High attention to detail; a self-starter who's comfortable in a fast-paced setting

A plus: retail industry experience, especially store-level sales planning.
