Our company is a US-based IT agency that connects global software engineers with US software companies. As our remote workforce grows, we’re improving how we manage company-issued laptops and standardize workstation setup for our developers.

We are looking for a trustworthy, detail-oriented IT specialist who can receive company laptops, prepare them with required software, perform security/compliance setup, and provide the work environment to our remote engineers. This role helps ensure that every developer starts with a consistent, secure, and fully configured work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Receive laptops and related hardware shipped from our partnered companies.
- Install and configure essential tools such as:
- Development environments (VSCode, JetBrains, etc.)
- Communication tools (Slack, Teams, Zoom)
- Time-tracking and productivity tools
- Security software (VPN, endpoint protection, access management)
- Ensure proper user accounts, permissions, and authentication setups.
- Perform basic quality checks to confirm all systems work correctly.
- Document each device’s configuration and maintain a simple inventory log.
- Provide occasional remote support for device setup or troubleshooting after delivery.
