Remote Inventory Data Entry

I have a collection of product and inventory records already sitting in an existing spreadsheet / online system. What I need is a reliable pair of hands to pull that information out, clean it up, and re-enter it into a brand-new, well-structured spreadsheet that is easy for the whole team to search, sort, and update.

The task
• Work remotely and on a part-time schedule (we can agree set hours or flexible windows).
• Access the current file or system, copy over every product name, SKU, description, stock count, cost, and any other fields that appear, then standardise spellings, units, and capitalisation as you go.
• Build the new spreadsheet in Excel or Google Sheets—whichever you are most comfortable with—laying out clear column headers, consistent formats, and basic data-validation rules so future edits stay clean.

Acceptance criteria
• All existing product lines transferred 100% accurately—no omissions or duplicates.
• Numeric fields remain numbers (no stray text), dates stay dates, and text is trimmed of leading/trailing spaces.
• The final file opens without errors and passes a spot check for random entries against the source.

Once the sheet is complete and quality-checked, simply share the file back with me (or a secure link if you choose Google Sheets). That’s it—straightforward work, but precision is essential.
