Remote CDL Driver Recruiter — Commission Only
Class A Solutions | Independent Contractor | Work From Home
Class A Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our recruiting team! If you enjoy talking to people, building relationships, and helping others find opportunities, this could be a great fit.
As a recruiter, you’ll connect with CDL-A truck drivers, learn what they’re looking for, and help match them with available driving positions. You’ll guide drivers from the first conversation through the application and hiring process while staying organized and maintaining consistent communication.
What You’ll Do
Contact driver leads by phone and text.
Ask questions about driving experience, location, preferred home time, and job interests.
Review available positions and explain pay, schedules, freight, and job requirements.
Help interested drivers complete applications and submit their information.
Follow up with drivers about application progress and next steps.
Keep accurate notes and update driver information in our recruiting tools.
Communicate with the team when you need help finding a position or resolving a question.
Training and Support
You don’t have to know everything about trucking to get started. We provide training materials, recruiting tools, and ongoing guidance to help you learn the process.
This is a hands-on learning opportunity. Successful recruiters take time to review the training, ask specific questions, apply feedback, and put what they’ve learned into practice. You’ll have support along the way, but you’ll also need to take initiative and follow through.
Who Would Be a Good Fit?
We’re looking for someone who:
Is comfortable making calls and starting conversations.
Can listen to a driver’s needs and clearly explain job options.
Stays organized and follows up consistently.
Works independently and manages their time well.
Is coachable and willing to follow the recruiting process.
Understands that recruiting takes persistence and that every conversation won’t result in a hire.
Previous experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, or the trucking industry is helpful, but it is not required. Beginners who are ready to learn are welcome to apply.
What You’ll Need
A computer and reliable internet connection.
A phone for communicating with drivers.
A quiet place to make calls.
Basic computer skills and comfort using online training and tracking tools.
Consistent availability to contact drivers and respond to follow-ups.
Compensation
This is a fully commission-based independent contractor position. Compensation is earned through successful driver hires under the commission plan. There is no hourly pay or base salary, and calls, training time, and applications alone do not generate commission.
Earnings vary based on successful placements. This role is best suited for someone who understands commission-based work and is prepared to build results through consistent effort and follow-through.
