Finish and release four existing apps (React Native/Expo, Node/Postgres, React) for a US-based IoT vending device. The build work is done: these apps took about six months to build and are functionally complete. This job is verified production release, not a new build, and it is priced that way.
WHERE IT STANDS
The four apps are built and functionally complete: a customer app (React Native/Expo), a service app (React Native/Expo), a backend (Node/Express/Postgres with Stripe) and a React admin dashboard. Tens of thousands of automated tests have been run across the codebases. Each has existing CI, open pull requests, a written release procedure and detailed evidence. What remains is acceptance on real systems: production, real phones and the payment provider.
THE WORK
1. Verify the exact release candidates and CI, resolve any source or configuration differences.
2. Security review and hardening: fix applicable critical and high findings, retest. A scanner report alone does not count.
3. Verify and fix the connected customer, service and admin journeys: login and permissions, English/Spanish, orders, payments, refunds and balance, rewards, media, notifications. Prove that repeated requests, lost responses, restarts and duplicate or out-of-order Stripe webhooks never create a duplicate financial effect.
4. Capacity and restart checks, database and media backup with an isolated restore test, monitoring with actionable alerts, deployment and recovery runbooks.
5. After owner approval: release, verify the deployed versions, complete live-payment setup, and submit the customer app to the app stores.
NOT INCLUDED
Kiosk, Android bridge, payment-terminal and brewing hardware work. A separate specialist handles it. You provide documented, tested software interfaces.
GROUND RULES
The service app has real users. Preserve accounts, logins, visits, photos and media. Rehearse migrations and recovery on an isolated copy. No production change, live financial action or release without my written approval. No extra paid work without my written agreement. Reuse the existing work, no rewrite unless you can demonstrate a reason.
WARRANTY
60 days on defects in your delivered work, including defects found when the hardware specialist integrates your documented interfaces.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
MY HARD CEILING IS USD 800 FOR THE COMPLETE JOB. Bids above $800 will not be accepted. If you can only do it above that, tell me what you would cut or leave to me (for example app-store paperwork) to reach $800. Payment is staged: 30% when items 1 and 2 are verified, 30% when items 3 and 4 are verified, 20% on release (item 5), and 20% held until day 60 of the warranty passes with no open defects.
TO BE CONSIDERED, YOUR FIRST MESSAGE MUST INCLUDE
- Two or three projects you personally built that combine Node/Postgres with React Native or Expo and Stripe (live links, repo, or a screen-share walkthrough), and which part was yours.
- Your fixed price, exclusions and finish date (I expect about 20 working days).
- How you would prove no duplicate charges from retries and webhooks, in your own words.
- Your warranty response times.
Bids without project links will be ignored.
Source code, full details and repository access are shared only after a signed NDA with the selected shortlist.
