I already have the core logic that receives RTMP and SRT feeds and forwards them over UDP; what’s missing is a clean, intuitive interface that anyone on my team can operate without touching the terminal. The existing codebase exposes all the necessary endpoints, so your task centres on the front-end layer and a thin controller that ties it to the current Go/Python services.
Here’s what the interface needs to do:
• Present clearly labelled buttons and form fields for starting and stopping individual streams, plus a global control for all active sessions.
• Offer interactive elements—sliders for bitrate, drag-and-drop for re-ordering outputs—and instantly persist the chosen settings via our REST endpoints.
• Display real-time graphs showing bandwidth, packet loss, and latency, updating every second.
• Push user feedback in context: colour-coded status lights when a stream is live or stalled, a progress bar during initial buffering, and toast-style success or error notifications whenever a command executes.
Deliverables
1. A responsive web UI (React, Vue, or Svelte—your preference) bundled and ready to deploy behind an Nginx reverse proxy.
2. Integration layer (Axios/Fetch hooks) that consumes my existing /start, /stop, /status, and /config routes.
3. Dockerfile and concise README so the whole stack spins up with one command.
4. A short Loom or GIF demo proving start/stop, status updates, and error handling all work in real time.
