I have a series of internal emails, client-facing reports, and procedural documents that are already drafted but still feel rough around the edges. What I need now is a sharp editorial eye to elevate them—cleaning up grammar, tightening punctuation, and removing the lingering typos that can chip away at credibility.
Here’s how I’d like us to work:
• I’ll share each file in Word or Google Docs with comments turned on.
• You run a full line-by-line edit—prioritising grammar, spelling, and punctuation—while preserving the existing voice and structure.
• All changes should be tracked so I can accept or query them easily. A short rationale for any major rewrite is helpful but not required for minor fixes.
Turnaround is important to me, but I value accuracy even more. If you use tools such as Grammarly or LanguageTool, great—just pair them with careful human judgment so nothing mechanical slips through.
Deliverables
1. Clean, finalised versions of the supplied emails, reports, and documents in their original formats.
2. A tracked-changes copy for each file so I can review every edit.
Once we’ve completed an initial batch, there’s plenty more to come, so a smooth, reliable process could turn this into ongoing work. I’m looking forward to seeing how you can polish my words into their most professional form.
