Principal Full-Stack Developer Needed - Luxury E-Commerce Platform
We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to help us improve and complete Aroma, an existing luxury perfume e-commerce platform.
Aroma already has a polished React-based storefront with a landing page, product catalog, product filtering, product detail pages, shopping bag/cart, user registration/login and an Express API.
The goal is to take the current demo/reference implementation and turn it into a complete, polished, production-ready e-commerce platform.
What you will work:
1. Frontend and UX audit of the existing application.
We want you to review the current pages and customer journey, identify what works well and you shouold audit perfectly so you won’t rebuild existing parts.(You will be valued strong UX judgment and product sense, visula quality)
2. Depending on the findings, the project will include:
· Frontend improvements and new e-commerce functionality
· Backend and database development
· Authentication and user accounts
· Cart and checkout
· Payment integrationq
· Order management
· Frontend/backend API integration
· Performance, security, testing and production readiness
Skills
Frontend: React, JavaScript
Backend: Node.js, Express, REST API
Current data: JSON-based demo storage and session-based cart
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working across both frontend and backend, can understand an existing codebase and can work independently while making thoughtful technical and UX decisions.
This is intended as a long-term collaboration with the initial focus on auditing the existing application and establishing the right development priorities.
