Recover & Republish Inactive Sites

I have between one and five client websites that were taken offline after invoices went unpaid. I still hold full access to each original hosting account and the domains remain under our reseller umbrella, but there are no usable backups on record. Your mission is to locate viable copies of every site—whether that means scraping Internet archives, recovering server remnants, or using any other ethical method—then restore each one to its original domain and get it functioning again.

Because I can no longer reach the previous developers, you’ll need to deal directly with the current hosting providers and registrars whenever DNS, SSL, or file-level intervention is required. The republishing process should leave every site publicly accessible, loading quickly, and displaying the same pages and assets that existed before shutdown.

Deliverables
• A live, functional version of each website on its original domain
• All recovered files and databases placed in the hosting accounts I provide
• A concise restoration report per site that notes the recovery method, any missing elements, and credentials or settings changed

Acceptance criteria
A site is considered complete when I can browse it end-to-end without 404s, broken images, or critical layout errors, and when cPanel or equivalent shows clean file structures and database connections.

If you can bring these first sites back online smoothly there will be ongoing work for upgrades, redesigns, and future maintenance under our reseller program.
