I’m gathering a new Bashkir speech corpus and need a small team of native, adult speakers to record short prompts from home. You will read each line clearly into your smartphone mic, save the files in PCM/WAV, and upload them through our portal.
Key points
• Work is fully remote and paid at $8 USD per hour.
• I expect you to record on a standard Android phone (that is what most of the task is optimised for), though a laptop, desktop or tablet would also work if you prefer.
• A consistently quiet space is essential; occasional background noise forces us to reject clips.
Deliverable
A complete set of high-quality WAV files covering all assigned prompts and meeting our silence, volume and clarity checks. Once your batch is validated, payment is released immediately.
