Rebuild STL Meshes in SolidWorks

have two existing STL meshes and I need each of them recreated as its own fully editable SolidWorks 2018 *.sldprt file. These parts will be used for product design and presentation, so the geometry must match the originals exactly—no dimensional or visual changes, just a clean, solid model that I can continue to tweak later.
I only require a straightforward conversion: take the mesh, rebuild it as a proper solid (surface knit or feature-based, whichever gives the best fidelity) and be sure it opens natively in SolidWorks 2018 without showing up as an “Imported” body locked to the mesh. Once I receive the editable parts, I’ll handle any further parametric work myself.
Deliverables
• Two separate SolidWorks 2018 *.sldprt files, one for each STL
• Geometry identical to the provided STLs, ready for sketch and feature edits
• No mesh body leftovers; the models should behave like normal solids when I open them
I’ll supply the STLs as soon as we start, and I’m happy to answer any dimensional questions to ensure an exact match.
