I need a developer who can stream raw LiDAR packets directly into a live point-cloud renderer and have that same data trigger real-time incident reports inside our existing “Alarm Reports” environment.

The visual side must handle continuous, high-density point clouds with smooth pan, zoom, and color mapping, updating as new frames arrive. Performance is critical; latency should remain low enough that field personnel can make operational decisions on the fly.

On the reporting side, every anomaly or threshold breach detected in the incoming data should spawn an incident record instantly, complete with timestamp, location coordinates and a snapshot of the point cloud at the moment of the event. These incident reports have to show up in the Alarm Reports interface the moment they are generated—no nightly batch processing.

Key deliverables
• A real-time point-cloud rendering module wired to the LiDAR feed
• Event detection logic that converts triggers into live incident reports
• Seamless integration with the current Alarm Reports dashboard, maintaining its existing look and feel
• Brief deployment guide and commented source code so our in-house team can extend the tool later

Acceptance criteria
1. Point cloud updates within one second of data capture, tested with our sample LiDAR log.
2. Incident report appears in Alarm Reports within two seconds of trigger, containing the required metadata and an image of the relevant frame.
3. All functionality demonstrated during a live screen-sharing session on our production hardware.

If you have experience with WebGL/Three.js, PCL, Open3D or similar frameworks and can meet the above performance targets, I’d like to see a brief outline of your proposed approach.
