I need 3 Blender-authored GLB assets that render performantly in a browser (three.js target, real-time — not offline render).
## Assets required
1. **Barrel-shaped cabin** — horizontal wooden slats forming a cylinder, iron rings around body, single door cutout, no chimney. Origin at floor center. X-axis = length. Must scale cleanly in 2m–4m range on X without distorting the door.
2. **Gable roof module** — separate mesh, sized to sit on top of a rectangular box. Origin at bottom-center attachment point. Scalable independently on X and Y.
3. **Rectangular door** — wooden frame with a large glass insert, wooden handle. Origin at floor-center of bottom edge. Hinge side = -X.
Reference photos and dimension sheet provided after contract award.
## Technical requirements (non-negotiable)
- **Format:** `.glb` (glTF 2.0 binary) + `.blend` source
- **Polycount:** 4,000–12,000 triangles per asset
- **Topology:** clean quads where possible, no n-gons on visible surfaces, no unmerged verts
- **UV mapping:** required on all meshes, no overlapping UVs on separate faces
- **PBR materials:** albedo + normal + roughness slots configured (placeholder textures fine — will be swapped in-engine)
- **Origin/pivot:** per-asset specifics above. Y = up, +Z = forward.
- **Merged geometry:** single merged object per file, vertex groups OK
- **Naming convention:** parts named `[asset_id]_[part_id]` in outliner (e.g. `barrel_body`, `barrel_rings`, `barrel_door`)
- **Draco compression:** optional but preferred — target file size ≤ 2 MB after Draco
- **Embedded texture size:** max 512×512 for placeholder PBR
## Deliverables per asset
1. `[asset_id].glb` — production file
2. `[asset_id].blend` — source (Blender 4.x)
3. `[asset_id]_preview.png` — 1024×1024 render, 3/4 angle, neutral lighting
## Acceptance criteria
Each asset must pass:
- Opens cleanly in [gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com](https://gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com/) with no warnings
- Polycount within stated range
- Origin at specified location
- UVs present and non-overlapping
- Naming convention followed exactly
- Loads correctly in a three.js test scene
2 revision rounds included per asset.
## What to include in your bid
1. **At least 2 real-time 3D web samples** — Sketchfab links, model-viewer embeds, or three.js/babylonjs demos. Offline renders (V-Ray, Corona, Cycles) do not count.
2. **A downloadable GLB sample** from your portfolio.
3. **One sentence** describing how you would approach the barrel cabin's parametric scaling on X-axis.
## Bids I will not review
- Generic template bids
- Portfolios showing only architectural renders
- Bids without a downloadable GLB sample
- Bids that skip the parametric scaling question
## Communication
- English (any level, clarity over fluency)
- Progress updates every 2–3 days
