I have a finished track and want to bring it to life with a fully-realised 2D animation that feels believable and grounded rather than stylised or cartoony. Think fluid character motion, accurate anatomy, natural lighting, and environments that could almost exist outside the screen—even though everything is still hand-drawn or digitally painted frame by frame.

Once we start, I’ll share the song, lyric sheet, and my rough storyboard notes. You’ll develop the visual narrative, sync key moments to the beat, and keep the pacing tight so the images carry the emotional weight of the music.

I’m open to traditional hand-drawn workflows, Toon Boom, TVPaint, or similar pipelines, as long as the final look achieves that realistic edge. Clean linework, well-observed movement, and subtle effects (parallax, lighting passes, camera moves) will be important.

Deliverables I’ll need:
• Scene-by-scene storyboard for sign-off
• Rough animatic with audio for timing approval
• Clean-up and coloured animation passes
• Final graded master in 1920×1080 (or higher if you prefer) H.264 and ProRes, plus the layered project files

A short note on schedule: we can discuss milestones that make sense for both of us, but I’m ideally looking to premiere the video within the next few months.

When you reply, please point me to examples of previous 2D work with a realistic aesthetic—character pieces, animated shorts, or music videos are perfect. If you have a preferred toolset or pipeline, let me know; clarity up front will keep production smooth.

Looking forward to seeing how you’d turn this song into a cinematic, frame-by-frame experience.
