I need a desktop-based simulator that lets users experience full project task management inside a realistic, real-time collaborative environment. On launch it should run smoothly on Windows without any additional setup.

Core functionality is focused on task management only, but I want it to feel authentic: users must be able to create tasks, set simple dependencies, update status, assign owners and watch everything synchronise instantly across multiple sessions so they can collaborate live. Think “sandbox PM tool” rather than a full SaaS platform—speed and interactivity come first.

User interaction needs to be advanced: simultaneous editing, live presence indicators, and conflict-free updates similar to what you find in modern collaborative editors. If two people drag the same card on a Kanban-style board, they should both see the move occur in real time. Chat or in-app comments to discuss tasks would be a bonus if it doesn’t compromise performance.

You’re free to choose the tech stack that best achieves low-latency sync on Windows (WebSockets, SignalR, local server, or a bundled P2P approach are all fine). Clean, well-commented source code and a concise setup guide are part of the hand-off.

Deliverables:
• Executable Windows build of the simulator
• Full source code with build instructions
• Quick-start documentation demonstrating multi-user testing scenario

I’ll test by spinning up two instances on separate machines; if every task action mirrors instantly, we’re good. Let me know any questions about architecture or timeline and we can lock in milestones quickly.
