Real-Time MySQL-Excel Sync

I keep my operational data in an Excel 365 workbook but now need it held in a proper MySQL database and mirrored back into the same sheet the moment anything changes.

Here’s what I want to achieve:

• Take the structure that already exists in my worksheet, build the equivalent MySQL tables (field names, data types, primary keys, etc.), and import the current rows.
• Wire the workbook to that database so any insert, update, or delete committed in MySQL is instantly reflected in the sheet—no manual refresh buttons or timed schedules.
• Changes I make inside the sheet can stay read-only or bi-directional depending on the simplest stable approach, but at minimum I must always see the live MySQL state in Excel.

I’m on Excel 365 and the server is standard MySQL, so you can rely on Power Query, ODBC, VBA, MySQL Connector/ODBC, or another lightweight solution that won’t require extra paid add-ins. Once it’s running, a brief note or screen-share walk-through of how it works will be enough for me to maintain it.

Deliverables:
1. SQL script that creates the tables exactly matching my worksheet.
2. Workbook wired to the database with real-time refresh demonstrated.
3. Short setup guide so I can redeploy if the file or server moves.

I’ll test by editing a record directly in MySQL and expect the cell to update in the open workbook without delay.
