I’m building a new web application and need an experienced full-stack developer who is equally comfortable in JavaScript and TypeScript. The front-end will be written in React, so you should have a solid grasp of modern React patterns, component architecture, hooks, state management, and responsive design principles.
On the server side I expect a clean, TypeScript-friendly Node.js setup—Express, NestJS, or a comparable framework are all acceptable as long as the codebase stays strongly typed, well-structured, and testable. You’ll wire up the REST—or GraphQL if you prefer—endpoints, integrate any third-party services we decide on, and connect to a relational or NoSQL database (open to your recommendation).
Your responsibilities will include:
• Setting up the project scaffolding and build pipeline (Webpack/Vite, ts-config, ESLint, Jest).
• Implementing the core UI in React and styling it with either CSS-in-JS or a utility framework like Tailwind.
• Building the corresponding back-end routes, models, and middleware.
• Writing unit and integration tests that run in CI.
• Documenting API endpoints and providing a concise README so other developers can get up to speed quickly.
Acceptance criteria: the application compiles without errors, all tests pass, critical paths are covered by automated testing, and the initial feature set is deployable to a staging environment with a single command. If you have demonstrable experience delivering comparable React + TypeScript projects, I’d love to review your portfolio and discuss timelines.
