React Native Product Listings App

I have a fully documented REST API and finished Figma designs ready to go. What I need is a clean, future-proof React Native implementation that speaks to that API, authenticates users with simple email-and-password credentials, and then presents product listings in an infinite-scroll list. Tapping any item should push to a detail view that highlights user-generated product reviews first; the design may evolve to include description or pricing later, so keep the component structure flexible.
Code quality matters as much as the UI. Please write everything in TypeScript, organise UI and business logic into reusable, well-named components, and avoid custom native modules unless we hit a hard limit with the JS APIs—maintainability is the priority. The app must also work gracefully offline: cache list data and individual product reviews locally (e.g., via React Query + AsyncStorage or similar), then sync when the connection is restored without data loss.
Deliverables
• TypeScript React Native codebase in a Git repo
• Email/password auth flow wired to the existing endpoints
• Product list screen with pull-to-refresh, pagination, and offline cache
• Product detail screen focused on reviews, with optimistic updates when users post new ones
• Centralised API layer with typed responses and error handling
• Brief setup/README and light unit test coverage for critical logic
Once you’re onboard, I’ll share the Swagger docs, figma file, and a small Postman collection so you can start hitting the endpoints immediately.
