React Frontend Engineer for Restaurant Site

I am sourcing for a client who is building a fine dining restaurant landing page. The frontend is already built with React and TypeScript. I need an experienced Frontend Engineer to implement new features, improve UI/UX, and polish the existing design.

Current stack: React, TypeScript, Vite, Framer Motion, React Icons, custom CSS.

Pages/Sections include: Navbar, Header (Hero), About Us, Special Menu, Chef, Intro (Video), Gallery, Laurels (Awards), Find Us, Newsletter, Footer.

Work Needed:

- Dark/Light Mode toggle - theme switcher with smooth transitions across all components plus localStorage persistence
- Google Maps integration - interactive map with location marker and "Get Directions" button in the Find Us section
- Loading states and error handling
- Responsive fixes across all sections
- Code quality improvements
- Any missing UI polish

Requirements:

- 3+ years React experience
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Experience with Framer Motion animations
- Experience with Context API and localStorage
- Experience with Google Maps Embed API
- Strong responsive design skills
- Good communication in English

How to Apply:

- Add a basic Dark/Light Mode toggle button (just the button, not full theming)
- Embed a Google Map in the Find Us section
- Add a loading spinner to the Gallery section
- Fix a responsive design issue on mobile
- Add form validation to the Newsletter form
- Add image lazy loading to the Gallery
- Improve the mobile navigation menu
- Fix any console errors or warnings
- Improve the video play/pause button accessibility
- Add hover animation to the Award cards

Step 2: Record a Loom video (max 5 minutes) showing:

- The functionality you implemented
- How it works
- Your thought process

Step 3: Submit the Loom video link and your estimated total budget for the frontend enhancement and timeline.
