Rapid 3-5 Landscape Project Files

URGENT – PERM/DOL RFI – Build 3–5 Landscape Project Files ASAP

I am looking for an experienced Civil Engineer, Landscape/Construction professional, estimator, or technical documentation specialist to help with an urgent PERM/DOL RFI response.

I need someone who can start immediately and work ASAP.

Background

The Department of Labor issued an RFI regarding a Landscape Technician position and is asking why the position requires an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

The attorney wants us to demonstrate that this particular position is more technically demanding than a standard landscaping position because of the company’s projects and the employee’s responsibilities in implementing landscape/site plans in the field.

The attorney specifically requested 3–5 representative projects showing the technical nature of the company’s work.

The situation

The employer has completed real landscaping projects, but does not have complete formal project files for these projects.

We therefore need someone who can take the information available about the company’s actual completed projects and develop detailed, professional project documentation/case files from that information.

We may have information such as project locations, photographs, descriptions of work, materials, approximate measurements, costs, customer information, and employee knowledge of what was performed.

What I need you to do

For 3–5 real projects, help create a complete and professional project file, including whatever is applicable and can be supported by the information available:

* Project description
* Scope of work
* Proposal/estimate
* Site/layout information
* Project measurements
* Material lists
* Quantity calculations/takeoffs
* Material specifications
* Hardscape information
* Irrigation information
* Drainage/grading information
* Landscape layout information
* Technical explanation of the work
* Project completion documentation
* Change orders, if applicable
* Project cost information
* Invoices based on the actual project/work information
* Photographic documentation
* Other appropriate supporting project records

The goal is to show that these were not simply basic landscaping jobs, but projects where the Landscape Technician had to understand and implement technical information involving measurements, dimensions, scale, grades, drainage, irrigation, hardscape, materials, quantities, specifications, and site conditions.

Technical explanation

For each project, I need help identifying:

1. What was the project?

2. What technical work was involved?

3. What did the Landscape Technician need to understand or do?

4. What Civil Engineering knowledge was relevant?

5. Why would a normal landscaping laborer not be expected to perform those technical functions?

6. What problems could occur if the technical information was misunderstood or incorrectly implemented?

The overall argument needs to connect:

Civil Engineering education → technical competency → Landscape Technician duties → actual project requirements → necessity of the education

Important

I am not looking to create fictional clients or claim that work was performed when it was not.

The projects must be based on actual projects performed by the company. The issue is that the employer did not maintain detailed formal project documentation, so I need someone who can develop organized professional project files from the actual information, records, photographs, and recollections that we can provide.

Every document will be reviewed and verified by the employer and immigration attorney before submission.
