Racing Car Livery Template

I have a set of high-resolution photos of the vehicle and I need them turned into a clean, reusable template so I can apply a custom racing livery with ease. The end result should capture a true motorsport feel—bold lines, dynamic angles, and a layout that flows naturally over each body panel—while remaining editable for future tweaks.

You will start by tracing the exact contours of the car from the images I provide, building layered outlines for every visible panel (doors, hood, roof, bumpers, mirrors, wing, etc.). From there, create smart guides and safe-print zones so sponsor marks, numbers, and any additional graphics can be dropped in without distortion. Please keep the color approach flexible: I will decide on the final palette later, so the template must allow quick global color changes.

Preferred tools are Adobe Illustrator (vector) or an equivalent app that exports fully layered AI, EPS, and PDF files. I also need a flattened reference PNG to review at a glance.

Acceptance criteria:
• Accurate panel outlines that match my photos
• Separate, clearly named layers for each panel and for guidelines
• Scale set to 1:1 so the file can go straight to the print house
• Delivered in AI (or SVG/EPS) plus a preview PNG
