I’m looking for help tracking down and fixing stubborn syntax errors in my Python project. Everything is being written and run inside Visual Studio Code, so you’ll need to be comfortable using its integrated debugger, linting extensions, and typical Python tool-chain (virtual environments, pylint/flake8, etc.).
Scope of work:
• Open the current repository in VS Code and reproduce the syntax errors I’m seeing.
• Explain the root causes and resolve each error without altering the intended logic.
• Add comments where fixes were applied so I can follow the changes easily.
• Run the updated code to confirm it executes cleanly in VS Code’s terminal.
• Suggest any small configuration tweaks (settings.json, recommended extensions) that would prevent similar issues in the future.
All code lives in a Git repo, and I’ll grant access as soon as we start. A concise changelog and a brief summary of the fixes will complete the job.
