Python Django Core Banking Backend

Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced Python/Django Backend Developer to work on SECO-Wallet, a core banking/financial application.

The project involves implementing and improving financial transaction functionality, including account transfers, deposits, withdrawals, transaction ledgers, daily limits, account statements, audit logging, API authorization, idempotency, concurrency handling, and database performance.

The developer will work with the existing codebase and complete the tasks defined in the project specification while maintaining clean, secure, reliable, and well-tested code.

Required Skills:

Strong Python experience
Strong Django experience
REST API development
PostgreSQL / SQL and Django ORM
Database transactions and concurrency handling
pytest / automated testing
Financial transaction or ledger logic
API authentication and authorization
Idempotency and data consistency
Performance optimization
Clean architecture and maintainable code
Git/GitHub

Budget Range:
$25–$60/hour, depending on experience

Timeline:
Approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on experience and availability.

Experience with FinTech, payment systems, banking platforms, accounting systems, or transaction/ledger-based applications is highly preferred.

We are particularly interested in developers who understand financial data consistency, database transactions, concurrency, security, and automated testing, rather than only basic CRUD/API development.
