Python-Based AI Automation Bot Development

Hi,

I can build this as a modular Python-based AI automation bot with a clean architecture so that the LLM, RAG/knowledge-base layer, and automation tools remain independent and easy to extend.

My proposed implementation:

• Python-based core with a simple CLI interface
• OpenAI-compatible LLM integration
• PDF, DOCX and TXT document ingestion
• Document chunking + embeddings + FAISS/Chroma vector search
• RAG pipeline for context-aware answers with document/source citations
• Modular automation/tool registry for tasks such as file operations, Google Sheets updates, summaries and notifications
• Environment-based configuration using .env — no API keys hard-coded
• Slash commands / trigger-based automation execution
• Clear separation between LLM, retrieval and automation modules
• pytest unit tests for the core components
• README covering installation, configuration, running the bot and adding new automation tasks

I would keep the first version lightweight and local, while structuring the code so additional LLM providers, vector databases and automation tools can be added later without rewriting the core system.

I can deliver the initial working version with the RAG pipeline, automation framework, tests and documentation in approximately 5–7 days.

I can also provide the project as a clean Git repository with an easy setup process for a fresh machine.
