I need a creative editor who can turn my footage into energetic 30-60 second vertical videos for YouTube Shorts. Every clip should feel fast-paced and hook viewers in the first few seconds, then keep them watching with colorful, on-screen captions, well-timed sound effects, trending background music, and the occasional emoji or B-roll pop-in to illustrate key points.
Here’s how I picture our workflow:
• I’ll share the raw clips and a brief outline of the message for each Short.
• You handle the cut-down, pacing, and motion graphics so the final edit stays between 30 and 60 seconds, 9:16 aspect, ready to upload.
• Captions need to be bold, easy to read on mobile, and synced tightly to speech.
• Audio must be balanced: voice front and center, SFX and music riding underneath without overpowering.
• Transitions should feel smooth and modern—nothing too gimmicky, just enough to keep momentum.
Deliverables for each video
1. Final .mp4 file (1080 × 1920)
2. Separate text-less version if motion graphics cover important visuals
3. Project file so tweaks are possible later
I’m open to whichever editor you prefer—Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut—as long as the results meet the quality above. Turnaround per video is 48 hours once footage is supplied, with one round of revisions included.
If this sounds like your kind of project, send over a link to a Short or Reel you’ve cut that shows punchy pacing and stylized captions. Looking forward to collaborating!
