Punchy Game Trailer Editing

I have a straight-to-the-point assignment: turn the gameplay footage and key art I’ll supply into a short, high-impact trailer I can showcase on Steam and across social channels. Think snappy pacing, eye-catching motion graphics for the logo and any on-screen callouts, plus a music bed that’s either fully licensed or an original composition you own outright.
You’ll receive clean gameplay capture, layered key art, my rough script notes, and a style reference reel. From there I’m counting on you to handle the edit, colour pass, dynamic text animation, and sound mix so the final result feels professionally polished without losing its energy.
Primary platform needs
• Steam (16:9, up to 60 s)
• Instagram (9:16 Reel cut, 1:1 square teaser)
Deliverables
1. Master 16:9 trailer in ProRes and H.264
2. Platform-specific exports in the ratios above, encoded to each service’s recommended bitrate and file size
3. Separate stereo WAV of the final mix
4. Project file (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) with organised bins and any After Effects comps linked
5. Proof of music licensing or licence transfer document
I’m happy to review an early storyboard or animatic first; after that, aim for two revision rounds on the full cut. Please flag any asset gaps early so we stay on schedule.
