I have a spreadsheet containing every power-pole site I manage, each already tagged with accurate latitude and longitude. I now need those locations turned into a shareable ArcGIS Explorer (ArcGIS Online) map that anyone can open without logging in.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Import all pole coordinates, display each as a point feature, and label it with the pole ID provided.
• Style the symbols so they are easy to see against the default basemap and remain readable when the user zooms in or out.
• Host the finished map in ArcGIS Online, set its sharing to “public,” and give me the direct URL (plus optional embed code).
• Supply a brief, step-by-step note on how to add or edit points later should the network expand.
All data is ready; I simply need your GIS skills to publish and present it cleanly.
