I am looking for a detail-oriented billing specialist who can take over day-to-day claim submission for my psychotherapy practice. Your core responsibility will be preparing and electronically submitting insurance claims from the patient encounter through to clearinghouse confirmation. Accuracy, speed, and absolute confidentiality are non-negotiable, as every claim contains sensitive clinical information.

To succeed you will need verifiable experience with psychotherapy or broader mental-health billing, including the correct use of CPT codes, modifiers, and payer-specific rules. While the main focus is on clean claim submission, any familiarity with benefit checks or follow-up on denied claims will be seen as a welcome bonus.

Workflow highlights
• Receive encounter data securely, review for completeness, and enter it into the billing platform I already use (TherapyNotes and Office Ally).
• Generate and transmit claims the same or next business day, triple-checking demographics, ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Maintain an internal log so I can track claim status without chasing you for updates.
• Flag any documentation gaps immediately so we can prevent avoidable rejections.

What I will evaluate in your application
• A short note outlining your psychotherapy billing experience, naming the software and clearinghouses you have used.
• Two or three concrete metrics (e.g., first-pass acceptance rate, average days in A/R) that demonstrate your accuracy.

Quality bar & timeline
Turnaround for normal daily volume (5–15 claims) is 24 hours or less. I expect zero PHI leaks, fewer than 2 % rejected claims, and proactive communication if a deadline is at risk.

If we work well together, I would like you to stay on for ongoing weekly support.
